Private Practice

I offer psychotherapy for individuals, couples, and families navigating complex emotional and relational difficulties.

My work is grounded in psychodynamic and psychoanalytic approaches, informed by advanced training in complex trauma, personality dynamics, and relational systems.

I work with people who carry significant responsibility in their careers, their families, or both, and who are dealing with difficulties that feel entrenched, repetitive, or hard to articulate.

You hire me to heal what holds you back and keeps repeating.

This track delivers specialised, high-premium clinical work for individuals, couples, and women who carry real responsibility and want change that holds under pressure.

We map the Five Masquerades—protective patterns that once kept you safe but now drive burnout, distance, and self-sabotage—and we address the binding forces of shame and contempt that keep them in place.

Through ARDM Depth Interventions (a structured process that restores mentalisation—the capacity to understand your own and others’ inner worlds), we turn inner conflict into clear boundaries, steadier leadership, and relationships you can trust.

Individual Psychotherapy

I work with adults experiencing:

• Patterns of burnout, perfectionism, or overwork that feel driven rather than chosen

• Relational difficulties — repeating patterns in relationships, difficulty maintaining closeness, or conflict that escalates quickly

• Complex trauma and its effects on emotional regulation, self-worth, and relationships

• Anxiety, depression, or emotional shutdown that has not responded well to previous approaches

• Identity and life transitions, particularly where professional success coexists with personal distress

• The effects of growing up in a high-conflict, emotionally volatile, or emotionally absent family system.

Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly or twice-weekly depending on what the work requires. Therapy is open-ended — we work for as long as is genuinely useful, not to a predetermined package length.

Couples, Family Dynamics and Multigenerational Work

Some families carry patterns across generations of conflict, control, emotional distance, or unspoken grievance that shape how each new generation relates to power, money, responsibility, and each other. These dynamics often surface most acutely during succession planning, inheritance decisions, or family business transitions.

I work with families and family enterprises on these dynamics, drawing on psychodynamic family therapy, relational systems theory, and structured mediation. The work is typically confidential, sensitive, and longer-term.

If your family is navigating a transition or conflict that feels larger than any individual relationship within it, this may be relevant to you.

How to begin

Initial consultations are 50 minutes. This is a chance to describe what has brought you to therapy, for me to explain how I work, and for both of us to assess whether the fit is right.

Sessions are available in-person in Coventry (central UK) and online via secure video for clients based elsewhere.

Fees are discussed during the initial consultation. I hold a small number of reduced-fee places.
